Masculine Easter Card "Son"

Happy Thursday!!!!

If you have been following me you know that my hardest challenge is making a masculine card, as well I couldn't add too much dimension which is another big challenge for me!!!!, (the buyer of this card will be mailing it so she didn't want it to cost too much.)

I placed homemade SKITTLES on the lace down the left side so it would'nt  appear too girly, these Skittles are made by Carrie from Double Click AKA A Busy Bee
They went perfect with my vintage theme and they are only tiny, (Big Bonus)

Here is my card
Easter Greetings by Katherine Smith

I brighten this image to see if you could see all the shimmer and shine but it didnt' work, (pout, pout)

This Saturday I am having my first  "New Release", I hope you drop by!

Have a FABULOUS day!

Bunch of Tulips Easter Card using San's Design Digital Stamps

Happy Monday!!!!!

As you all know I am now part of the fabulous San's Design Team and although we haven't started yet I couldn't wait!!  I have a lot of Easter cards to make and San's digital stamps have just the right amount of cute factor I am looking for.

I bought this digital stamp here:

Meet Bunch Of Tulips!!!!

Here is the card I made:

This card's shape happened by mistake, I was used my EK Circle Cutter  (never works for me) and made the worst circle you'd ever seen but instead of tossing it (knowing I wouldn't do any better on the next one) I used  Scalloped Scissors to cut along the bottom and it turned out to be more of an oval than a circle, well..?.. not really but ... (maybe deformed circle?) lol
I cut another (what ever you want to call it, with pattern paper and placed it behind the first one.
I inked both of them with Shabby Shutters Distress Ink.  Phew! Did you get that? hahahaha

My card base started of 5 1/2" by 7" but I didn't like the way it look with my odd ball shape so I cut around it. In the end though all my mistakes I loved the look of it!!!

I am so in love with this bunny!!!!  I paper pierced  the shirt that I created and colored the tulips with Spectrum Noir Pens, I added Silver Stickles that really make the tops of the tulips shine.. can't see it in the picture. I used Liquid Embossing over her cheeks and drew whiskers. I topped the whiskers with a very thin white line made with Dimensional Fabric White Paint.

Here is a side on view so you can see how I made the leaves shimmer using Pearlizing Medium.

I am entering this card into Paper Playtime "Anything goes"
Challenges 4 Everbody  "Always Anything goes"
and
Craft Us Crazy " Anything goes"
Have A Terrific Day!!!
